The Spriggs Workout

Saturday morning we had a visit from our little blond friend Isaac. According to Jaime, he after they got home he fell asleep while eating his lunch. I guess the Spriggs' kids worked him pretty hard. Maybe that can be my new career- babysitting kids and working them so hard the parents throw money at me because they sleep so well. I see dollar signs.

Camryn was a big help and picked up all the big branches Ted cut off the tree that was getting in the way of the swing set. She comes in handy sometimes.

"Go White Kids, Go White Kids, Go Go Go White Kids!"

The kids have taken quite a liking to the Black Eyed Peas as of late. We listen to Boom Boom Pow very often in the car as well as in various restaurants and public places to soften a nasty Connor tantrum. Today they discovered it on TV thanks to the Tivo'd American Idol Finale. Now instead of whining for it only when we are in the car they can whine for it all day at home, too. Yay for me.

Lesson Learned

Camryn had a friend over for a play date today. Since they are so old and mature, I let them play upstairs by themselves. This is what I found in my room when I finally went up there:

Camryn had to weasle her hand in the picture. There was no way Connor was going to get all the photography attention.

Life Imitating Cat

Our cat Chula, and her brother, Mookie Berini, are famous for squeezing their furry bodies into the tightest objects possible. Some of Chula's favorites include small boxes, the Boppy, and the napkin holder. The napkin holder was a daily nap spot until I actually put napkins in it. When I saw Connor sitting in this tray, I couldn't help but think of Miss Chula, though he's not as squished.

Fake Pony Rides

We went to our friends at the Cassidy house for a visit a couple of weeks ago. Carter and Cooper got the most hilarious/creepiest gift ever. It's an almost life-sized pony that actually moves and "eats" food from your hand. I couldn't tell if the kids thought he was real or not. Connor was brushing it and feeding it grass so I'm thinking "yes".

Carter was "stuffing" to impress Camryn and, no, Connor is not stoned, he's in his TV mode
