Spriggs Family Egg Hunt

On Sunday after a nice morning of "shhhing" the kids through church, "shhhing" them through brunch at Cheesecake factory and then some almost quiet time while Connor napped (I say almost because once Camryn came downstairs and we told her that the egg hunt would be after Connor woke up she started in on the "Is Connor awake yet?" every 2 minutes until he actually opened his eyes), we had an egg hunt in the back yard. Since there was candy involved, I was really impressed with Camryn. She would find eggs and give them to Connor since she had more than he did. He even gave her some. It was a nice display of being nice to each other that lasted for the 10 minutes they were in the back yard.

Brainwashing

This what happens when Daddy puts Connor down for his nap. I guess Ted thinks sleeping with a football will somehow make him a Dolphins fan by osmosis or something.

God Rocks!

The kids did an Easter egg hunt at Camryn's school last weekend. Instead of candy in each egg they traded the eggs in for a goody bag that that a few toys in it including a stuffed bear that said "God Rocks!" on it. I guess that's what happens when your kid goes to a Presbysterian pre-school.

Minnie

Camryn recently found her Minnie Mouse hat and now wants to wear it everywhere and she insists that it's backwards so her name is in the front. It hadn't actually been worn to Disneyland until last week.

Fire Station Visit

Our Mommy and Me class had a field trip to the fire station. Despite the look on his face in these Connor really did enjoy himself.

Yes, I know he looks just like Ted in this picture. We have a baby picture of Ted with this exact "duh" face. Coincidentally, this is also their "staring at the TV face".

America's Next Top Model

As you may have guessed, I found the cord to connect the camera to the computer! Yay! Now I have a month of pictures to sort through for your enjoyment. I thought we'd start with Camryn and her Glamour Shots. She went to a birthday party at this place called "Olivia's Doll House and Tea Room" where they got to dress up and get their hair and make-up done, have a fashion show and then a tea party. It was all very grown up. On the way home her and I stopped at the mall and some lady was telling her how pretty she was. I felt the need to explain the party to her so she didn't think I was some sort of stage mom who forced my 4 year old to wear make-up and gave her an "up do" on a daily basis. Camryn would love it if I did do that everyday, but it ain't gonna happen.

Here's the post wardrobe and hair picture

Getting her make-up done

Practicing "Blue Steel" for the fashion show

Apparently, this is her new pose for pictures. It's really annoying since her face is sideways in every picture. She walked down the catwalk to her spot and as the cameras came out, so did this.

Still doing that pose

The Happiest Place on Earth...Again

Yes, we are crazy and went to Disneyland again yesterday. Grandma Patti is in town and wanted to take the kiddos. I can't even begin to describe how many people were there since it was Spring Break. We still got on some rides and I got to eat a whole churro by myself while the kids slept so all and all it was a good day.

The only way to wait in a big line without any disasters is to feed them sugar. Worked like a charm.

P.S. I haven't posted in so long because I can't find the cord that connects the good camera to the computer. I have a ton of pictures so hopefully I'll be able to find it to keep you fans happy.

The Boys and Camryn

No matter how old these kids get, a Jack in the Box is always a huge hit.

I guess Ironman likes to hang out with the local fire department.

Camryn looks more like she's practicing to be a model rather then a firefighter. Maybe that's more her speed. There's probably more princess dresses involved.
