Beach Time in November- Love it!

Pumpkin Patches

I'm catching up for the last 8 months, so I'm not doing captions. You're smart enough to figure out what's going on, right?

Ain't No Party like a Pizza Party

We had a make your own pizza party for Camryn's birthday. The kids really liked it, and the pizza was quite tasty. We also had a woman come and sing songs and stuff with the kids. Since there are so many pictures and I'm too lazy I'll let you think of your own captions. Have fun.

Camryn's 5th Birthday

Since we are us, we of course went to Disneyland for Camryn's birthday. It was hot and crowded as usual, but still was a good time. Camryn got to wear the "Happy Birthday" button and just hated all the attention she got from happy birthday wishers. Ha!

Connor and I (notice the lollipop- the tell tale sign that we were going on a ride he's too little for so he needs a good bribe while he waits. Our other trick is popcorn)

Connor and two of his favorite things in life- Lightning McQueen and Daddy.

We had lunch at Ariel's Grotto in California Adventure. Tasty, fancy food and all the princesses come to your table to take pictures and sign autographs. Camryn was in heaven.

Connor lost his interest in the princesses pretty quickly and instead decided to go under the table to put stickers everywhere. Hey, at least we didn't have to chase him around the restaurant like usual.

Grandma Patti and Camryn waiting for the Toy Story 3D ride. We finally got on after several failed attempts on previous visits. Connor wouldn't put his glasses on so the whole thing was a blur to him, but he claimed he enjoyed it.

World Cup 2027

Camryn started her professional sports career in September. She spent the whole season of soccer running up and down the field smiling (not neccesarily anywhere near the ball) and wondering what kind of snack they got after the game. It wasn't very productive, but she had fun and Ted and I learned that all the pep talks of "go for the ball" and yelling from the sidelines didn't do a whole lot of good. By the end of the season I dreaded going because it meant an hour of me chasing Connor around trying to get him off the field or yelling for Daddy (who was an assistant coach so he couldn't exactly take care of Connor. Nice excuse, right?) and/or bribing him with food.

The "Purple Power" team as they were called, were pretty intimidating.

Connor spent the first game wiping his hands all over the chalk on the field and then rubbing it all over his face. I let him do it because he stayed in one place for an extended period of time. It was worth the extra bath.

One of my bribes that worked for about 2 minutes.
