World Cup 2027

Camryn started her professional sports career in September. She spent the whole season of soccer running up and down the field smiling (not neccesarily anywhere near the ball) and wondering what kind of snack they got after the game. It wasn't very productive, but she had fun and Ted and I learned that all the pep talks of "go for the ball" and yelling from the sidelines didn't do a whole lot of good. By the end of the season I dreaded going because it meant an hour of me chasing Connor around trying to get him off the field or yelling for Daddy (who was an assistant coach so he couldn't exactly take care of Connor. Nice excuse, right?) and/or bribing him with food.

The "Purple Power" team as they were called, were pretty intimidating.

Connor spent the first game wiping his hands all over the chalk on the field and then rubbing it all over his face. I let him do it because he stayed in one place for an extended period of time. It was worth the extra bath.

One of my bribes that worked for about 2 minutes.
